ROWONTARIO is recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion as the not-for-profit governing body for rowing in the Province of Ontario.
We are a volunteer-led organization consisting of 50 member clubs and some 7000 individual members.
Vision
Every Ontario community with a safe and accessible body of water has a rowing club functioning at optimal capacity.
Mission
ROWONTARIO aims to enhance the quality and quantity of rowing participation in Ontario through the delivery of programs which;
aid the development of new and existing rowing clubs
aid the development of athletes, coaches, umpires and other volunteers
expand the scope of rowing activities

Excellence:
At least 50% of all athletes, coaches and umpires representing Canada at the international level are Ontario-based
Ontario's Rowing Teams win the overall 2005 Canada Summer Games title and 2006 and 2007 Rowing Canada Cup titles
Participation:
ROWONTARIO membership increases to 9,000 by 2007
Interaction:
All High School and Universities with rowing programs are RCA/ROWONTARIO members by 2007
Capacity:
Alternative rowing craft and wake-reduced coach boats are available in Ontario
ROWONTARIO's club membership grows by at least one club per year.
