ROWONTARIO is pleased to announce the eight athletes that will make up the first ever ROWONTARIO U17 (ROU17) Team. Athletes were invited to join the ROU17 Team based upon their finish in the Men’s of Women’s 1X races at the 2018 ROWONTARIO Championship Regatta in London. The following athletes have accepted the invitation and have been named to the ROU17 Team:

  • John-Wesley Appleton (Don Rowing Club)

“I am very excited to see the group of talented athletes that have self identified and committed to this program. Working towards racing at the NRC’s and the CC regattas is the next logical step for these young athletes and is a tremendous opportunity to showcase their abilities on the water with the best that Canada has to offer.” – Chris Marshall, High Performance Manager, ROWONTARIO
