Strategic Goals:
ROWONTARIO has four strategic goals, built on the goals of the Canadian Sport
Policy: Excellence, Participation, Interaction and Capacity.


1.  ROWONTARIO achieves excellence through the delivery of the High
Performance Sport Program and Canada Summer Games, by enhancing competitive
adaptive rowing, event development and through the implementation of CS4L/LTAD
athlete development plan.


2.  ROWONTARIO enhances participation by increasing membership,
increasing adaptive rowing at Clubs, and developing participation opportunities
for targeted groups.


3.  ROWONTARIO promotes interaction by enhancing strategic partnerships
and developing its profile in the Ontario sport community.


4.  ROWONTARIO builds capacity through good governance, policy
management, developing club capacity, and Coach and Umpire Development programs
that focus on the education, retention and career pathways for Coaches and
Umpires.
