On Sunday, July 15th, we welcomed 345 participants, representing 30 rowing clubs from across Ontario and the United States, to the Welland International Flatwater Centre North Course for a great day of racing at the 2018 ROWONTARIO Masters Championships! Coaches, volunteers, umpires, and athletes battled hot temperatures as they took to the water. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers from the WIFC and all volunteers for a fantastic event!

Exciting New Event

Perhaps the most exciting race of the day was the Parent-Child 2x, a new event at this year’s regatta! It was an exciting 5-boat race, but in the end Team Dietrich shut out the competition with an impressive time of 3:41.47.
