The Row Ontario Hall of Fame was created during Row Ontario’s 50th anniversary year in 2020. The Row Ontario Hall of Fame recognizes and honours the outstanding contributions and individual achievements in the sport of rowing in Ontario.

Nomination Process
Row Ontario will send out a ‘Call for Nominations’ each year for the Hall of Fame. Any member of the Ontario rowing community can submit a nomination form including Ontario member clubs and participants, a Row Ontario Board of Director/ Staff/ Committee representative and/or other rowing stakeholder. Self-nominations are not permitted.
In order to submit a nomination for a Hall of Fame Candidate, the below nomination form must be filled out in FULL for the candidate to be considered for the Row Ontario Hall of Fame. Nomination forms can be submitted at any time during the year, but must be received before the nomination deadline stated in the Call for Nominations in order to be considered:
Prior to submitting a nomination form, please review the below Hall of Fame Selection Policy. A candidate’s worthiness for the Hall of Fame will be judged based off the criteria in the Selection Policy and the nomination form should speak to the criteria listed in the Selection Policy:
Selection Process
Once the nomination process is complete, nomination forms are reviewed by Row Ontario’s Hall of Fame Selection Panel. Once the review process is complete and the induction class has been selected, the Hall of Fame Selection Panel makes their recommendations for induction to the Row Ontario Board of Directors. The Board must ratify the selected candidates to confirm their induction into the Hall of Fame.
Hall of Fame Selection Panel Terms of Reference
As per the Row Ontario Hall of Fame Selection Policy, nominated candidates will stay on the ballot for consideration for five years after their nomination. To avoid duplicate submissions for nomination, please find the list below of previously submitted nominations:
