Row Ontario is teaming up with Rowing Precision for a contest giveaway of a RPX Series Rowing Computer at the 2025 RowOn Coaching Conference!
A draw for this new rowing technology will be held at the Conference for attendees who have registered for the Conference by the Early Bird Registration deadline (previously registered attendees will be entered into the draw).

Located in the heart of St. Catharines, home of the iconic Canadian Royal Henley Regatta, Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association (CSSRA) Regatta, Ontario University Association (OUAs) Regatta, and many more. Rowing Precision was born from a passion for the sport and a vision for the future. We saw a gap in rowing technology: tools that could give coaches real-time insights and athletes instant, data-driven feedback, right on the water. Our RPX series rowing computer will live stream on water performance to a coach unit, allowing for coaches to provide data driven feedback when it’s needed. The result? Seamless communication, smarter coaching, and faster performance gains when every stroke counts.
About the RPX Series Rowing Computer
The RPX is a rowing computer that uses high performance GPS to display metrics such as split time (time/500m), stroke rate (SPM), total time, and distance. These units, coming in 2.7-inch (RPX 270) and 4.4-inch (RPX 440), may be used independently as an athlete-only unit or in combination with two or more units for coaches to connect with multiple athlete units and allow for instantaneous data. Log workouts and upload onto Crew Logger to view high-performance data such as per stroke stats, including acceleration (m/s2), speed (m/s), distance/stroke, split, and heart rate*. Unit features include; High-Precision GPS for stroke accuracy, Live coach/athlete telemetry for relaying data, workout programming, and device control (200m+), Floating design with waterproof USB-C charging, and Custom colour options. *(heart rate strap not included)

What: 2025 RowOn Coaching Conference
Where: Four Points by Sheraton St. Catharines Niagara Suites – Thorold, ON
When: Dec. 6-7, 2025
The 2025 RowOn Conference features two keynote speakers (Louise Kingsley and Arshay Cooper), a selection of lecture and practical sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and the choice to attend two limited-participation fireside chat sessions on Sunday afternoon. Breakfast & lunch will be provided on Saturday and breakfast will be provided on Sunday. We’ll have vendors to visit, a Saturday night social at Cold Break Brewing, a coaching summit on Friday ($10 off your registration if you attend!), and as always a great opportunity for conversation and idea sharing with coaches and others from around the rowing community!
