Sellers: Please be aware of the potential for scams. Unfortunately online ads can attract scammers. If a buyer insists on using a personal cheque, cashier’s cheque, bankers cheque, wire transfer, money order, e-transfer via QR Codes, or emailed cheque as a payment method, they may be planning a scam. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t go through with the transaction. If possible, conduct transactions in person, in public, and in cash. A scam was recently attempted by the names Thomas Fry and Dorothea Miky, please be aware of these names when conducting a sale.
