2026 RowOn Umpires Conference

Row Ontario and the Umpires Committee are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 RowOn Umpires Conference!

On April 11, all Umpires, including L1 Assistant and L2 Associate Umpires, are invited to join the rest of the Ontario (and beyond) umpiring community for a half-day virtual conference. The Conference is a great opportunity for professional umpiring development, and participation will satisfy the Annual Umpire Seminar and Special Topics Seminar requirements for License Maintenance.

When: April 11th, 9:00am-12:00pm
Where: online via ZOOM
Who: The Conference is open to all Registered Umpires, FREE of charge. You must be registered for the 2026/27 season in order to attend.
Registration Deadline: Monday, April 6th

Session Topics:
1) Rules of Racing
2) Evolving Foot Stretchers and the Umpire’s Responsibility
3) Best Practices for Weigh-ins
4) Boat Positioning

Although there is no charge to attend the Conference, pre-registration is required. All registrants will receive a Zoom link prior to the Conference.
