RCA Coach Weekend #1

RCA Coach Weekend #1 is an NCCP Competition-Introduction pathway best suited for coaches working with rowers who intend to participate in inter-club competition, especially athletes at the Train to Train and Learn to Compete stages of long-term athlete development.

Pre-Requisites for Attending
* Participants may register and secure their place in the workshop, prior to completing the pre-requisites. The following must be completed before attending the workshop, in order to get course credit.

1. Create an account and register with RCA as a coach (membership.rowingcanada.org)
2. Register in “The Locker” (thelocker.coach.ca)
3. Obtain/verify Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) and provide to your Club

ELearning Pre-Requisites:

• Complete NCCP Coach Initiation in Sport eLearning Module (https://thelocker.coach.ca/onlinelearning#CIS-E)
• Complete RCA Rowing Essentials eLearning Module (https://thelocker.coach.ca/onlinelearning#ROW-RE-E)
• Complete MED module (https://coach.ca/nccp-make-ethical-decisions)

Dates:
Saturday, March 16 (8:45am – 1pm)
Wednesday, March 20 (4:45pm – 9pm)
Saturday, March 23 (8:45am – 1pm)

This virtual workshop will be split over three sessions. Participants MUST attend all three sessions to receive credit for the workshop.

Cost:
Before March 8 at 12pm – Early Bird Registration $165+HST
After March 8 at 12pm- $190+HST
