Peter Van Rooijen

Peter Van Rooijen began his rowing career at the Brockville Rowing Club in 1997. During his career he rowed for his high school, the Brockville Rowing Club, various Team Ontario’s, Rowing Canada (Jr & U23) and Trent University rowing teams. After earning a business degree from Trent, Peter moved to St. Catharines and began coaching with Brock University as well as the Ridley Graduate Boat Club and St. Catharines Rowing Club. Peter also coached with Rowing Canada’s CanAmMex team in 2007 and Team Ontario at the 2009 Canada Summer Games.

Peter’s professional career spans HR operations in the marine industry, leasing and property management of commercial real estate and senior leader in the North American logistics and chemical distributor business.
