Call for Expressions of Interest – Nominations Committee

Row Ontario (RO) is inviting members of the Ontario rowing community to submit Expressions of Interest to serve on the 2026 Nominations Committee.

We are seeking up to four (4) individuals to join the Committee. Ideal candidates will bring:

• Strong understanding of board governance principles within a policy board structure
• Connections within the rowing or broader sport community to support the recruitment of potential candidates
• Experience with interviewing and other selection or evaluation processes.

Additional Information

• Term Length: May 2026 to August 2026
• Appointment: Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors.
• Commitment time includes 1-2 committee meetings plus possible candidate interviews – approximate commitment 10 – 15 hours

Deadline to submit: April 30, 2026

This timeline ensures adequate time to form the committee for this year’s nominations process.
