Registration Opens for 2021 RowOn Virtual Coaching Conference
Coaches from around the rowing community can now register for the 2021 RowOn Virtual Coaching Conference as Row Ontario and AMP Rowing announced on Thursday that registration for the Conference is now open.
The Conference will take place from Nov. 28 – Dec. 5 in a virtual format for the second year in a row. On Sept. 23, Row Ontario announced the full slate of sessions, which features five lecture sessions, including a keynote speech by two-time Olympic gold medalist Eric Murray, as well as four limited participation ‘fireside chat’ sessions.
“We know that investing in coach development will have a lasting impact on the Ontario rowing community,” said Andrew Backer, Row Ontario CEO. “This year’s conference has a diverse selection of sessions with an excellent group of presenters. We’re very excited to bring the 2021 RowOn Virtual Coaching Conference to the rowing community and know that it offers a great opportunity for coaches at all levels to gain valuable knowledge and experience.”
The virtual format of the conference creates an opportunity for coaches everywhere to attend. Registration is open to anyone across Canada, the USA and elsewhere. The cost of registering for the five lecture sessions at the Conference is $60+HST. Each fireside chat session will cost $20+HST to register, or coaches can register for all four fireside chats for the price of three ($60+HST).
“AMP Rowing is looking forward to once again bringing this unique coaching education opportunity to the rowing community,” said Al Morrow, managing partner with AMP Rowing. “We think the sessions and group of presenters at this year’s Conference will resonate with the rowing community and there will be something of interest to everyone. Last year’s conference was a success with great reviews from the participants, and we think that with the addition of the fireside chats and a keynote speech this year’s conference will be even better.”
