Three Sponsors Announced for A Most Beautiful Thing Initiative
Yesterday, Row Ontario announced they will be partnering with the Canadian Sport Film Festival to bring the rowing film A Most Beautiful Thing to Canadian audiences during the weekend of May 14-16. Three companies have already agreed to become a sponsor for the initiative with contributions towards the VIP ticket package.
RegattaSport will be providing Row Ontario branded masks, while Nothers The Award Store and Medpoint Supply Co. have teamed up to sponsor the inclusion of the A Most Beautiful Thing book, written by Arshay Cooper in 2015.
RegattaSport is well known to rowing enthusiasts across the country for their rowing clothing and competitive gear. They are the official merchandise supplier for many rowing and dragon boat organizations, including Rowing Canada Aviron and Row Ontario.
“We are very proud to support the screening of this amazing story which shows how rowing can positively affect your life well beyond the last race,” said Chris Cookson and Joe Camillo, Co-owners of RegattaSport.
Ontario rowers may be familiar with Nothers as they are Row Ontario’s medal and trophy supplier.
“Our main goal at Nothers is to make a memorable experience for all award recipients and to provide the gift of time for all event coordinators,” said Jim Nother, President of Nothers. “Anytime we can be involved with a project such as this that shares the experience athletes have along the way that is a teaching point for others, we feel blessed to a part of these journeys for the betterment of society.”
Medpoint Supply Co. specializes in the production of medical supplies and personal protective equipment.
“Medpoint Supplies wanted to support this programming for Row Ontario as it brings awareness of the struggles that these athletes endured historically to succeed,” said Robert Hill, COO of Medpoint Supply Co. “We think sports such as rowing are an integral part of molding our youth into contributing citizens – teaching them; rules, responsibility and the willingness to win. We hope that this film motivates more children to get involved in sport.”
Row Ontario is still accepting both sponsor products and monetary donations to include in the VIP ticket package. Details on the level of sponsorships available can be found in the below link:
