Call for Nominations – Row Ontario Hall of Fame
After inducting the inaugural class into the Row Ontario Hall of Fame in 2020 during its 50th anniversary year, Row Ontario is now sending out the ‘Call for Nominations’ for the induction class of 2021.
The Row Ontario Hall of Fame to recognizes and honours the outstanding contributions and individual achievements in the sport of rowing in Ontario. Members of the Ontario rowing community are encouraged to nominate worthy candidates who have not already been nominated for induction into the Hall of Fame. As per the Row Ontario Hall of Fame Selection Policy, nominated candidates will stay on the ballot for consideration for five years after their nomination. To avoid duplicate submissions for nomination, please find the list below of previously submitted nominations here. Any member of the Ontario rowing community can submit a nomination form including Ontario member clubs and participants, a Row Ontario Board of Director/ Staff/ Committee representative and/or other rowing stakeholder. Self-nominations are not permitted.
In order to submit a nomination for a Hall of Fame Candidate, the below nomination form must be filled out in FULL for the candidate to be considered for the Row Ontario Hall of Fame:
The deadline to submit a nomination form is Saturday, July 31 and should be submitted via email to Frank Christie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prior to submitting a nomination form, please review the below Hall of Fame Selection Policy. A candidate’s worthiness for the Hall of Fame will be judged based off the criteria in the Selection Policy and the nomination form should speak to the criteria listed in the Selection Policy:
Nomination forms will only be eligible for consideration if: complete, received by the stated deadline, and are accurate and truthful.
