Ontario Ergometer Championships Come to Ridley College on Feb. 29

In addition to the standard indoor action, this year’s event will feature a mixed team relay for both junior and senior athletes for the first time in history. Each rower will complete a 500m leg before ‘passing the baton’ to their teammate in what figures to be a fast-paced and exciting event. Also on a tap is a mid-event open discussion with Niagara HUB coach Greg Szybka, who will discuss technique and what it takes to be a high-level rower. This is a great opportunity for rowers and parents to ask questions to a high-level coach and learn more about the sport.

As always, new Concept 2 machine are being brought in for the event and will be sold at the end of the regatta. This year’s price is again $1250/machine and a limited number our available. To purchase a Concept 2 machine, you will be required to provide your full name, address, phone number and email, and you are able to pay via cheque or e-transfer.
