Red Cross Fundraiser Launched by National Team

Dear Ontario Rowing Community,

Row Ontario joins Rowing Canada Aviron and our partners in sport across Canada in strongly condemning the recent invasion of Ukraine by the Russian government, currently being supported by the Belarusian government. We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, both living here in Canada and those residing in Ukraine.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the conflict and we add our voice to the many sport organizations across Canada and throughout the world in calling for peace and the immediate withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine.

We also join RCA in applauding members of the National Rowing Team for launching a Red Cross fundraiser in support of the people of Ukraine. Every dollar donated will equal one metre rowed by the National Team. Please consider supporting this great initiative.
